Assured Tenancy (Assured Short-hold)

Thinking of Leaving?

Please give 4 weeks notice in writing. Do this by completing our “End of Tenancy” form, which can be collected from the LNHA office.

Things to remember
  • Leave your Tenant Guide on the bookshelf
  • Return all your keys on the day you leave
  • Clean and tidy your room/flat/house
  • Remove all personal items of furniture
  • Redirect you mail
End of tenancy inspection

This will be carried out immediately after you leave to identify whether any recharges will be due for cleaning or damage etc.

Returning your deposit

We aim to return your deposit within 4 weeks of your tenancy end date if:

  • Your keys are returned on time
  • There are no outstanding recharge issues
  • Your rent is paid up to date and there are no Housing Benefit overpayments
  • Your room/flat is left clean and tidy
  • You have given us your bank details

 

Fixed term student tenancy

If you wish to bring your fixed term tenancy to an end before the due date you can do so by completing the appropriate form, however, you are liable for the rent due until the end of the fixed term, unless a new tenant can be found.

Your deposit will be returned subject to the same conditions outlined for Assured tenants.
